The Foundation, the charitable arm of the Food Marketing Institute, funds research and promotes collaboration and education within the food retail industry, addressing common issues and concerns related to food safety, health, and nutrition. Through charitable, educational, and scientific avenues, the Foundation seeks to further FMI’s mission of ensuring continued quality and efficiency in the food retailing system to feed families, enrich lives, and enhance health and well-being.
With an important mission and vision, the Foundation felt that their web presence needed to highlight their initiatives and impact. The Foundation sought to design a new website that would raise awareness for their issues, showcase the impact of the Foundation’s initiatives, and encourage additional support. The Foundation turned to their long-time digital partner Matrix Group to help them create a website that help them achieve their goals.
To help the FMI Foundation reach its goals, Matrix Group:
Designed a fresh, crisp new website with a bold homepage slideshow that introduces the Foundation’s initiatives.
Implemented the new design in the robust Sitefinity content management system, giving staff the ability to easily maintain the website and keep the information fresh.
Highlighted the Foundation’s key initiatives in a way that better promotes their impact and more clearly showcases the Foundations resources, and tools.
