Matrix Group is pleased to announce that the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors® (NVAR) website, designed and built by Matrix Group, has been named the 2017 Progress® Sitefinity™ Association Website of the Year.
Since its inception, the awards have been recognizing websites powered by Progress Sitefinity for creativity, design, user experience, functionality and overall website presentation. Winners were selected based on the highest number of votes received during the public voting process.
In 2017, NVAR partnered with Matrix Group to redesign its website. The goals were to
Better showcase its array of member services
Encourage member engagement beyond the required licensing courses
Feature the offerings that help Realtors® conduct their business
Foster involvement in NVAR’s various communities
Highlight and support its service provider members
Reinforce the association’s commitment to consumers.
The new website has been a huge success. Since the launch, NVAR has seen a 27% increase in site visits, a 40% increase in pageviews, a 14% decrease in bounce rate, and a doubling of attendance at the annual conference.
“On behalf of Progress, I would like to congratulate the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors® for striving to bring real innovation to their customers and to the markets they serve,” said Matt Gharegozlou, VP Sales and Strategic Partners Program, Progress. “While the Sitefinity platform is trusted and used by thousands of customers worldwide to create and optimize customer experiences across channels, these awards honor the progressive companies that are truly setting the pace for others.”
“We are thrilled and honored by this award. With its new website, NVAR sough to not just redesign its website, but completely revamp the association’s member engagement strategy,” said Joanna M. Pineda, CEO of Matrix Group. “We love the partnership between NVAR and Matrix Group and look forward to many more, amazing projects in the years to come! The Sitefinity platform has been a game changer for NVAR!”
This year, websites developed using Progress Sitefinity were nominated across 17 categories, and the 2017 Website of the Year winners were selected in two phases. First, an internal Progress jury shortlisted the three best websites per category. After narrowing the field, voting was opened to the community at large via email and social media, and the finalists with the highest number of votes were appointed the winners.
More information about the contest and the winners is available on the Progress “Website of the Year” page.
