Matrix Group, a digital agency in the Washington DC area specializing in web design, development, AMS, integration, branding, mobile and e-marketing services, recently launched a redesigned website for the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors® (NVAR).
Besides Realtors®, NVAR counts property managers, appraisers and other real estate-related professionals among its more than 12,000 members. The association lobbies on behalf of private property rights and offers its members education and professional standards enforcement to better serve their clients. Charitable support of local housing-related non-profits is also part of the organization’s mission.
NVAR’s previous website served the needs of Realtors® seeking continuing education, home sales-related goods and services and legislative and ethics information. With its new website, NVAR wanted to highlight and support its community of service providers, from marketing and technology companies to professional and property service members. NVAR also chose to reinforce the association’s commitment to consumers, providing resources and easy access to real estate professionals for those looking to buy or sell a home in one of the country’s most active real estate markets.
The Matrix team worked closely with NVAR on design, information architecture and development to create a user experience that:
- Showcases a friendly, mobile-responsive site with vibrant imagery from the Northern Virginia region and real estate community.
- Uses a three-portal strategy to feature topics and content of interest to the homebuyer and seller, Realtor® and affiliate service provider audiences.
- Makes it easier to find and share content and provides related articles and other items that allow users to access industry topics in greater depth.
- Integrates the event calendar and event registration with the association’s existing AMS
“This website has been designed to provide all users with the information that is most germane to their specific real estate interests,” said NVAR CEO Ryan Conrad. “Not only Realtors®, but real estate-related businesses and consumers also need a trustworthy source for current, accurate information about homeownership and property rights in Northern Virginia.”
