Matrix Group, a digital agency in the Washington DC area specializing in web design, development, AMS, integration, branding, mobile and e-marketing services, recently launched a completely new microsite for The CAS Institute (iCAS).
Via http://thecasinstitute.org/, iCAS has begun offering specialized credentials and education for quantitative professionals in topics including predictive analytics and catastrophe modeling.
iCAS is a subsidiary of the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS), which advances actuarial science through research, education, examinations, and certifications. iCAS aims to meet the needs of a new generation of data and analytics professionals whose expertise will continue to push the industry forward.
CAS previously collaborated with Matrix Group on their main website, www.casact.org, so they knew our processes, our successes, and how fast we could move. We teamed up and developed an iCAS microsite that:
Is a bright, clean, responsive design which evokes authority and warmth and provides a great user experience no matter what device they use to reach it.
Leverages the WordPress content management system’s flexibility and ease of use. Staff will have no trouble in keeping the content fresh with up-to-the-minute updates.
Employs a simple site structure and navigation. This helps visitors find what they need to know most: how to get and maintain credentials, as well as the benefits of membership.
“Because The CAS Institute is a brand new start-up venture for the CAS, we don’t have a lot of incoming revenue yet, and therefore our website budget was modest,” said Mike Boa, Chief Communications Officer for the CAS. “We appreciated the work that Matrix did to produce a professional website while staying within our budget.”
