Matrix Group Launches Redesigned Website for Road Runners Club of America

RRCAMatrix Group, a digital agency in the Washington DC area specializing in web design, development, AMS, integration, mobile and e-marketing services, announces the recent launch of a redesigned website for the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA).

The RRCA “is the oldest and largest national association of running organizations dedicated to growing the sport of running since 1958.” It’s a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that promotes the development of community-based running clubs and events. The Club supports local clubs through education, insurance and IRS services, conventions, and far more.

After serving the Club for more than half a decade, the previous website was due for an overhaul to update the look and functionality. RRCA staff members needed to be more nimble in their content management, and a new platform would give them that flexibility. A new platform would also meet the needs the Club had for increased integration with third-party services, like our very own MatrixMaxx AMS.

The new website features:

  • A modern, open design that evokes the freedom of outdoor running and the inclusiveness of the RRCA. It’s also responsive, keeping in line with the needs and expectations of today’s web users.
  • A Sitefinity implementation that is integrated with the MatrixMaxx AMS, a move that offers staffers greater control over the content and visitors a seamless web experience.
  • A streamlined, more intuitive navigation structure, one that makes it even easier for runners, coaches, and complete novices to find the information they need.
