Maryland Hospital Association (MHA) and American Wire Producers Association (AWPA) each won a gold award in the Association category from MarCom Awards, and the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH®) received an Outstanding Achievement award from the Interactive Media Awards.
MHA, an independent organization representing community and teaching hospitals, health systems, specialty hospitals, veterans’ hospitals, and long-term care facilities, came to Matrix Group for a new site that improved ease of use for staff and member alike. Their site features a robust taxonomy and navigation structure, all implemented in a newly responsive site in the Sitefinity content management system.

AWPA is the leading voice of the ferrous wire and wire products industry in North America. They wished to modernize their website and switch to an association management software that served their needs more effectively. Matrix Group implemented a new, responsive site design on the WordPress platform and integrated our MatrixMaxx AMS.

ACGIH® advances occupational and environmental health, providing opportunities and tools for continuing education; shaping policy; and increasing awareness of the changing rules and regulations surrounding occupational and environmental health. The organization came to Matrix Group to get a modernized look and feel for their new site, an easy-to-use content management system, and an association management software that could make it easier than ever for them to serve their membership.

MarCom Awards aims to “honor excellence and recognize the creativity, hard work and generosity of marketing and communication professionals.” The competition is open to any individual or company involved in most aspects of developing marketing, PR, and similar efforts. Print, visual, audio, and web products are all considered. The competition sees about 6,000 entries per year.
The Interactive Media Awards is a competition “created by the Interactive Media Council, Inc. (IMC), a nonprofit organization of leading web designers, developers, programmers, advertisers and other web-related professionals.” They recognize excellence and outstanding achievement in website design and development.
