Matrix Group, a digital agency in the Washington DC area specializing in web design, development, AMS, integration, mobile and e-marketing services, announces the launch of a redesigned website for the ACGIH®.
Founded in 1938, ACGIH is a member-based organization that advances occupational and environmental health. A well-respected organization by individuals in the industrial hygiene and occupational and environmental health and safety industry, ACGIH encourages the interchange of experience among OEHS professionals and collects and make accessible such scientific information as might be of aid to them in the proper fulfillment of their duties. This scientific information and data is provided to member and others in the industry through their peer reviewed journal, professional courses and seminars, and through their vast list of technical and scientific publications, including the renowned TLVs® and BEIs® book.
ACGIH's previous website did not reflect the association's mission and its position as the occupational and environmental health industry's leading source of scientific guidelines. Furthermore, the site's legacy functionality made it difficult for ACGIH to maintain the website and more importantly, make its resources and research accessible.
"We wanted to take ACGIH's brand message of advancing occupational and environmental health through research and highlight their achievements and dedicated service in the industry," said Alex Pineda, Matrix Group's Creative Director.
- Created a more modern and intuitive website that demonstrated ACGIH's position as the occupational and environmental health's leading source of scientific guidelines.
- Transferred its static website into the Sitefinity content management system (CMS), which offered more functionality and integrated with its membership database.
- Implemented MatrixMaxx, Matrix Group's AMS product and integrated it with website to manage its store, events and membership.
“We are excited about the launch of the new ACGIH® website! Our members and customers are now able to find information and resources more quickly and easily on the new website, which is also easier to view on any device whether it's a desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone,” said Tony Rizzuto, Executive Director of ACGIH.
