Food Marketing Institute and Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture Websites Win Davey Awards

November 13, 2012

Matrix Group is thrilled to announce that the Food Marketing Institute (FMI) and the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA) websites have each won a Silver Davey Award.

For FMI, Matrix Group created a more robust website that reflects FMI’s new identity, enhances its presence online and positions the association as the “leading voice for the food retailing industry.” With an understanding that more and more people are accessing websites through their mobile devices, Matrix designed and implemented the site to be responsive in the Sitefinity content management system. Integration between the website and MatrixMaxx was also increased, to pull more AMS content into the website and extending the single sign in to a new online library system through Presto.

For ACSA, Matrix Group created a website that connected visually with architects and architecture students. The site was implemented in the Sitefinity content management system, giving ACSA staff control over the site’s content. Matrix also upgraded the association’s member database to MatrixMaxx. The AMS now powers the association’s membership, meetings, online store, mailing lists, as well as member directory and profiles.

Sponsored by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, the Davey Awards honor the achievements of the "Creative Davids" who derive their strength from big ideas, rather than big budgets. The Davey Awards is the leading awards competition specifically for smaller firms, where firms compete with their peers to win the recognition they deserve.
