The Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture Website Wins an Interactive Media Award

The Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA) website won an “Outstanding Achievement” Interactive Media Award in the “nonprofit” category.

The “Outstanding Achievement” award is the second highest honor bestowed by the Interactive Media Awards. Websites are judged on design, content, feature functionality, usability as well as on standards compliance and cross browser compatibility. The ACSA website received a score of 468 out of 500.

ACSA is a nonprofit membership association founded in 1912 to advance the quality of architectural education.  Its membership consists of architectural students, faculty, and other professionals in the architecture field.

Matrix Group collaborated with ACSA on a website redesign and integration of MatrixMaxx to manage several critical components of ACSA's business model including, membership, events, e-commerce, and financial reporting.  We:

  • Designed a website that was visually appealing to members and the public, showcasing the organization as elegant and forward-thinking.
  • Implemented the website with the Sitefinity content management system for staff to maintain the website.
  • Incorporated interactive design elements conveying the creativity of the industry that it represented and enhanced the site’s usability with a robust navigation.

The Interactive Media Council, Inc. is a nonprofit organization of leading web designers, developers, programmers, advertisers and other web-related professionals, the competition is designed to elevate the standards of excellence on the Internet and offer winners a boost in marketing and exposure.
