Matrix Group is looking for a Marketing and Sales Coordinator to work with the Director of Marketing and the New Business Team to manage all marketing and content for Matrix Group, and assist clients with their own content strategies. You’ll be involved in all kinds of marketing, from webinars, to managing websites, to developing content for blogs, proposal writing, social media and presentations.

  • Manage our editorial calendar across platforms

  • Manage our marketing and events schedule

  • Draft news items and other content for our website

  • Assign blog posts to writers, as well as ghostwrite blogs for staff and clients

  • Draft and schedule social media posts and newsletters, for Matrix Group and clients

  • Conduct keyword and SEO research to understand customers’ needs

  • Craft copy for client campaigns, including newsletters, event campaigns, print campaigns, etc.

  • Monitor analytics across platforms, including Google Analytics, marketing automation and membership databases

  • Conduct research and prepare slides for webinars and presentations by senior staff

  • Handle the details for the various events where we attend and exhibit

  • Follow industry-related news and generate ideas around trending topics

  • Analyze marketing initiatives and report on effectiveness and results

  • Help the business development team by putting together proposal drafts, managing proposal language, and writing case studies

  • Be part of the team that keeps track of lead generation and prospect cultivation

  • Have experience writing for the web and social media.

If you have any of the following, it would be a huge bonus:

  • Have experience measuring effectiveness of content/marketing campaigns. If you don’t have solid experience in this area, you must be curious and willing to learn in this area.

  • Have a proven track record as a content strategist or web marketer.

  • Have experience with, or knowledge of, marketing automation.

  • Have some knowledge of the association or nonprofit sector.
