Matrix Group Launches a New Blog for Design Cuisine

Design Cuisine came to Matrix Group with the idea of creating a new blog to serve as a platform for marketing services to clients and future prospects by sharing inspirational ideas for special occassions, entertaining tips and recipes. More importantly, Design Cuisine wants to remain top of mind as the premier catering company for every type of event – from weddings, inaugural luncheons and movie premiers to small dinner parties.
Over the course of a few weeks, Matrix Group designed and launched a new blog so Design Cuisine could unveil it at a recent special event honoring the one–year anniversary of the presidential inauguration.
With Design Cuisine’s site visitors and marketing initiatives in mind, Matrix Group staff created and launched a visually stunning Web site that inspires visitors to plan their next event with Design Cuisine. Matrix Group:
- Collaborated with Design Cuisine staff to ensure the blog’s messaging and appearance remained consistent with their existing Web site and brand identity.
- Created a simple, user-focused navigation and searchable site layout, so visitors can easily find information, view photos and descriptions of events and comment on posts.
- Integrated the blog with photo sharing site Flickr to feature captivating photos of Design Cuisine catered events and interactive slide shows, featuring foods from its menu from start to finish.
As the only D.C. based catering company with a corporate blog, Design Cuisine was excited to connect with its target audiences of event planners, brides-to-be and home entertainers by giving them an inside look into the work of 60 chefs and staff members who make every event memorable.
