Matrix Group Launches Bilingual Web site for Carnegie Middle East Center
November 11, 2009

Matrix Group, International launched a new, bilingual Web site for the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace’s Middle East Center. Established by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in 2006, the Middle East Center serves as a public policy think tank and research center, providing policy makers, practitioners and activists with informed perspectives on current issues and challenges in the region.
To communicate with its multilingual audience, Carnegie needed to enhance its Web site to enable its staff to provide content in both Arabic and English. The prestigious institution partnered with Matrix Group on Web site on creating the best solution.
The new site coincided with Carnegie’s overall brand, but also incorporated components to help its Middle East Center communicate with all its constituents worldwide. Matrix Group:
- Enhanced Carnegie’s Content Management System (CMS), allowing Center staff to post content in both Arabic and English
- Incorporated a filter in the site search to allow visitors to search by language
- Adjusted display pages to account for right-to-left reading
These enhancements have made the site fully dynamic, allowing the Middle Center to connect with audiences worldwide. Visit the Web site at www.carnegie-mec.org
