Unisphere Unveils New Web Site Design

Alexandria, VA, December 1, 1999 - Unisphere, an international product development organization based in Alexandria, VA has announced the unveiling of its redesigned Web site. Matrix Group International, also located in Alexandria designed this site. Matrix design staff worked hard to meet the goals of the new site, which are to attract potential clients to the site and create an awareness of Unisphere's programs.

Unisphere operates a virtual venture market for firms with advanced technology products and services. It is also part of a consortium that assists private U.S. firms in maintaining and improving their competitiveness by utilizing technologies developed at federal laboratories. Public and private partners mainly fund the company they are both domestic and internationally based.

Unisphere wanted to create a Web site that showcases the organization and its programs. The goals of the Web site are to:

Create awareness of the programs developed and run by Unisphere, including the TransAction Technology Group (TTG) Program. This program brings together clients with prospective projects.
Create incentives for participation in Unisphere programs by highlighting successful projects
Detail the services available from Unisphere, including funding and technical support

The site navigation was expanded so visitors can quickly find out about Unisphere products and services from the main page. A monthly spotlight showcases a different project that benefits from Unisphere's assistance. More photos depicting projects illustrate the breadth of Unisphere's work.

Future enhancements include a Partnering Opportunities database that will bring together companies and agencies that have technology to license with potential buyers.
