Where We’re Going
I want to thank all of you for your loyalty, trust, friendship and support. I am honored and grateful to be celebrating Matrix Group’s 10th anniversary. When I started the company in 1999, I wasn’t thinking balance sheet, Web standards or business development; I was merely an idealist following a dream. My dream was to take my wild ideas related to the Internet, combine that with my passion for technology and help organizations develop and implement their online strategies. Most importantly, I wanted to help clients “be better.”
Over the last 10 years, the company has blossomed into a high energy, interactive agency, bringing together an amazing group of talented individuals with unique qualities and expertise. Together, we established a client base of “Who’s Who” in Associations and Non-profits, cultivated long-lasting partnerships, created a brand recognized by prestigious publications such as the Washingtonian and the Washington Business Journal, and won many trade and industry awards. Most importantly, Matrix Group has earned a reputation for asking the right questions, creating gorgeous designs, and building really great Web applications. We accomplished all this by staying true to the Matrix Group mantra of: Strategy. Execution. Results. We believe that an effective strategy combined with flawless execution delivers quality results!
For those of you who know me, you know I’m a Star Wars fanatic. To quote Yoda, the famous Jedi Master of the epic Star War Series, “always in motion is the future.” Our 10th anniversary has led us to reminisce about the past— it is also an opportunity to celebrate, thank everyone who contributed to our successes and look ahead to new adventures. It’s only appropriate for our next chapter to begin in a new location. We have outgrown our office in Alexandria, so we're moving! The new Matrix Group headquarters will be located at 2711 Jefferson Davis Highway in Crystal City, VA.
Advancements in Web technologies, interactive design and social media have opened doors to endless possibilities, allowing us to expand our solution offerings. We are taking Web design to new levels:
- Refreshing clients’ brands and identities to align with their long term goals.
- Helping them enhance their online presence with mash-ups and dynamic applications.
- Implementing the latest and greatest in content management systems.
- Adding multilingual capabilities to meet the demands of today’s global community.
- Incorporating social networking tools as part of our clients overall online strategies.
Matrix Group is changing with the times. We are staying on top of the latest trends in technology and Web design so that we can help our clients make their online dreams a reality. But as the company grows, I promise that our approach to client service and values will not change.
